Laurentian Labour Day
Uncle Jack leased this piece of crown land on Lac des Trois Montagnes for 99 years in 1958. He built the cottage on it bringing in all the supplies by boat as the road was only put through in 1981. This Laurentian summer place has hosted family and friends over 50 years. For Labour Day, Cousin Diane and her husband, Bill, brought Uncle Jack up from Ottawa. Her sister, Debbie, had spent the week there and cousin Neill and Shirley came from Montreal to visit for 2 days. We celebrated Debbie's 50th birthday as well as a half century of summer lake fun. Family members were remembered.
