c. 1912 boy's baseball uniform. Probably not from Jacksonville, though the photo was found in a Jacksonville collection. Notice the tiny glove and the shiny dress shoes. The boy's baseball uniform was probably a studio prop.

Taken at the Old School The black and white photos in this album were taken during the 1960s and 1970s of Jacksonville Students playing Little League. The color flag-backed shots of Cory, Danny, and Ben were taken in the 1980s down at the "new school". The other color shots interspersed among the b/w shots are used to show how the Little League uniform has changed over the past 100 years. Susan Krebs Mr. Smith...thank you so much for all the wonderful pictures. Funny how it just seems like yesterday, where does time go? The world needs more teachers like you

Bobby Jones. An outstanding all around athlete and record setter. The black and white photos in this album were taken during the 1960s and 1970s of Jacksonville Students playing Little League. The color flag-backed shots of Cory, Danny, and Ben were taken in the 1980s down at the "new school". The other color shots interspersed among the b/w shots are used to show how the Little League uniform has changed over the past 40 years. Biggest changes have been the replacement of the sturrup soxs with solid colored soxs and less stripes on the uniform. Susan Krebs Mr. Smith...thank you so much for all the wonderful pictures. Funny how it just seems like yesterday, where does time go? The world needs more teachers like you.
A "modern" photo of the present Little League uniform. ============================== Larry Smith, has been teaching school since 1966...almost 45 years. He is still subbing. Over those years he took photos of his students and their activities. He has now scanned in the negatives, photos and slides from those years. He has organized the 6,460 photos into 27 Picasa albums. He hopes his former students will find these albums after he posts them on http://www.jvwoodlands.org To contact Larry Smith: jvsmith@clearwire.net To contact Lloyd Smith: Lsmithtwin@comcast.netedit
