"I would guess that this is taken from the front yard of the Kinney House (now Hull & Hull), looking to the southeast. The fence in the foreground would be 'A' Street, then Gilbert Creek, and 'B' Street beyond that. I can't tell for sure, though, but I bet if you look close enough you'll see the Butler House at 2nd."

"I know there's been some significant washouts there since the old days, so that might change the bend a bit. But you're right, I don't really know. I was also inferring a bit from all the mining shots before and after it."
