Scholarship Recipients 2009
The Dayton Chapter of the American Institute of Architects is pleased to announce its 2009 Architecture Scholarship recipients. AIA Dayton awarded a total of $4,000 in scholarships to a group of outstanding high school seniors and college students from the Dayton Miami Valley region.
Ryan Benson, a 2007 graduate of Piqua High School, and Kaley Bartosik, a 2008 graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School, were each awarded $1,000 scholarships and will be continuing their architecture studies at Miami University this fall. Tyler Gentry, a 2009 graduate of Bellbrook High School was also awarded a $1,000 scholarship, and will attend the University of Cincinnati where he will study architecture. Benita Cheng, a 2009 graduate of Centerville High School, is planning to study architecture at Washington University in St. Louis with the assistance of AIA Dayton’s $1,000 scholarship.
