Heading into the mouth of the wash
Smoke Tree
About a 4' dry fall
Bones for Cayenne
How cute..a little birds nest
The bees are heavily guarding the scarce water available
Not sure if deer or big horn sheep, saw a lot of them near the entrance to Inner Pasture. They were very blunt toed, not pointed like most deer I have seen.
Near the entrance of Iner Pasture
More deer or bighorn tracks
The wash was fresh with illegal remants, besides foot prints there were also discarded clothes, water bottles and even a whole trash bag of clothing
Looking into Inner Pasture, Red Top is straight ahead over the peak seen here
Stariaght ahead you can see False Sombrero Peak at 11'oclock and the real Sombrero Peak at 12'oclock
Some camera filter trickery
Heavy concentration of mountain lion scat, the one in the middle was fresh, slimy and still had flies on it. Probably from early am or the night before.
Indian occupation was evident by the morteros found here
More morteros
More illegal traffic evidence, Mexcican Pesos
Heading back down the wash towards the main highway
Vallecito mtns to the left, nice colors as the sun begins to set
More camera filter trickery
When I got back to the truck the moon was begining to rise
