Queensland Concours 2010

On Sunday June 6, another perfect Queensland day, we held our record-breaking event. Indefatigable Concours organisor Tim P and his volunteer judges and workers turned on a magnificent spectacle in the grounds of the historic bayside Ormiston House. By early afternoon, 600 paying customers had entered the grounds and supplies of food were already running out. The PCQ Concours turned out to be the biggest event ever held at Ormiston House, so we expect a warm welcome back next year. The turnout of fourteen gleaming 928s was popular with spectators, many of whom were blissfully unaware of the front-engine V8 behemoths from the last century until they peered into our engine bays. It was great to have Roger Tyson as an extra sponsor for the two 928 sections. 928 sections winners and runners-up received trophy cups, detailing products (that probably should have gone to the losers) plus 928sRus T-shirts and vouchers. - Peter Buttery

Wollombi Frenzy - 4th July, 2009

Organised by Paul Muras, a great day was had in the Wollombi Valley. Wine tasting, lunch at the Lavender Gate Farm and then a visit to Undercliff Wines. Sunshine, good food, 928s and great company, all that's needed for another wonderful Frenzy!
