044 CUSTOM ORDER - SOLD Sandra’s Borrower’s Door. This would also be a great “city fairy” door. It features half of a DVD for the front step, and a hand frayed denim “rug” for the front step. The door knocker is made up of a button and a zipper pull. Tooth picks are used as braces for the door, and are tied together and mounted to the door with polymer clay “rope.” There is a pearl earring with a wingnut for the door knob. There is also an elaborate “locking” system created with a denim button, a chain from a necklace, a spring and a jack. On the right side is a screw mounted in the doorway. On it, hangs the grappling hook made out of a safety pin, as well as a looping of dental floss. On the cork on the right sits a bottle cap - a great place for the Borrowers to put food when they’re out collecting! There are also 2 pennies used in construction, as well as a marble and a Scrabble tile and a fuse from a car. On the left cork is a push pin which is holding a chain and an earring.
