Cordoba & Mendoza
After a weekend in BA, Steph, Suraj, and I flew to Cordoba, a university town in the central sierras. Due for some sleep, we were pretty mellow with the exception of horseback riding. From Cordoba, we rented a car, bought a map, and made our way to Mendoza, most often associated with wine. The drive brought us through Parque Condores, farmland and lots of small towns, and to the base of the biggest, most awe inspiring mountain range I have ever seen - the Andes. Once we finally arrived to Mendoza, we thought to ourselves, why stop? So the next morning, we set off for Chile.
Back in Mendoza, we spent a day wine tasting, another trekking and rappelling in the foothills, and our last enjoying the city and the people we had met. Steph, Suraj, and I then parted ways. Steph flew to Brazil for a research project, Suraj left for law interviews in New York, and I started the solo portion of my Argentina trip.
