Concorde spare part, leading edge. I would not mind having this on display in my living room. Absolutely stunning piece of machining.
Amazing, made in the sixties milled from special aluminium. Those panels are one piece. Imagine how much waste material to make it! Wires are for heating the leading edge.
No straight lines here, it is all curved. Remember it is made in the sixties. No doubt that this machine was a major achivement ever in the airplane history.
Our guide Steve told us many interesting things about Concorde. Did you know that the backpart of Concorde fuselage was a giant fuel tank?
