Val (taller one) and Mary came to take a short stay in Tokyo. They are Joanna's friends in UK.
Saturday morning, William and I went to Shiba Park Hotel to pick them up.
We went to Asakusa to visit the most famous temple of Tokyo. Special thanks to William who volunteered to be tour guide with me.
It's a beautiful weather, sunny day and not very cold.
Val and Mary were interested about the SMOKE.
It is really hard to explain why Asian people waving their hands with the smoke.
William was doing his best to explain this to them, hope they could understand.
In Japan, there is always a 5-level tower aound the temple, just like this.
After leaving from Asakusa temple, we went to take TOKYO CRUISE. From Asakusa to Odaiba Seaside Park.
We transfered at Hinode Pier.
Actually the famous Rainbow Bridge was behind us, but it's too bright to see it in this photo.
Yes, that's TOKYO TOWER. Japan is constructing NEW TOKYO TOWER currently, because this tower's broadcasting capability is not enough.
We ate Ramen (Japanese noddles) at Odaiba.
After the lunch, we went back to the hotel and finished 6-hour short tour. Hope Val and Mary will come to Japan again for more days.
Mary gave me this lovely traditional X'mas cake before they taking the airport shuttle bus. She is so sweet.
The flower behind the cake is given from James.
