1 -- Draw a shoe
2 -- Floor lamp in my living room
3 -- draw a purse. Vintage blue velvet purse from a garage sale, given new life with drycleaning.
4- draw a cup I love this diner style cup -- rather squarish on the bottom, but in a saucer. hefty in feel, not dainty, but not big our current huge coffee mugs. This one you have to make double the amount of trips to the coffee pot to enjoy, but that's ok. I still am not good at the ellipses, but I like that I saw the reflection of the saucer design in the mug, and I think it would be a fabulous cup to paint in WC...it'll be a long time from now til I can do it justice!
7 -- Bottle
9 -- organized chaos
10 -- Draw your hand. My DH thinks it looks like I have hairy knuckles, HA, which I don't of course! but I think it's pretty lifelike for my 40ish well used and abused hands.
11 -- Draw your glasses. In sketchbook with Pitt pens and Van Gogh waterbased dye wash
12 -- Draw what you ate for dinner -- in this case Pizza.
13 -- Draw your phone...and "roaming" on the display is so appropriate because we were "on the road again" in pouring rain, and we wanted to be home already.
15 --Tree
15 -- another one. Draw a tree, trees, or branches. Fall cottonwood trees at Balmorrhea State Park, Texas. I love the texture of their trunks. Pitt pens with Van Gogh waterbased dye washes.
18 -- View from the guesthouse where we were staying in Fort Davis. I didn't know that windmills were so noisy. Very interesting. didn't quite get the perspective of the top horizontal layer.
21 -- Draw something old or vintage. Edwardian wardrobe that we've made into a lovely but huge tv armoire. with pine garland and blue xmas lights on top. Drew in the stillness of a house with everyone else blessedly asleep, and the xmas tree lights on. so peaceful, I didn't want the time to end.
25 -- Draw a glass you drink from. This one is vintage iridescent gold festival glass, pressed glass -- note the seam on the side. The base is squarish. The sketch felt bare without some context, but I didn't want to fully sketch in the vase near it.
29 -- Draw something architectural
30 -- Draw a chair. This one has a stranger reading in Barnes and Nobles.
31 -- Draw something you collect AND 39 draw a toothbrush
34 -- Fall Leaf, found on my dog walk this morning.
36 -- Draw in public. This was looking down an aisle at Barnes and nobles...I got a fairly good take on the perspective I think!
42 -- Something I'm thankful for. Great parks with neat slides and more for my kids to play in while I sketch. Pitt pens in sketchbook with VanGogh waterbased dyes wash.
46 -- first attempt at one of my favorite xmas ornaments...along with other little wc doodles on the sides
55 -- doorknob.
56 -- draw a self portrait
56 another self portrait
58 -- Draw a hat or cap
60 -- Draw an automobile or part of one
EDM 62 Draw a challenge in a medium you don't often use. I'm cheating on this one because i do use watercolor, but since I'm new at most of this, I figured my shoe (EDM1) was only in ink, so this counts as another medium I haven' t used much.
72 -- Draw somewhere new. Balmorrhea State Park with its spring fed pool a constant 74 degrees. I drew various animals/birds/buildings in my view while my kids swam with the turtles and fishes on a coolish November day. First attempt at grid.
76 -- Flower or showy foliage. These are velvet pointsettia blossoms in a vase at a BBQ place. I washed them with Art Van Go waterbased inks and used my new kolinksy sable travel brush (one of my art supply presents) and I just love it!
76-- another flower
78 -- Draw a souvenir of a place you've visited -- brought home pecans and this page started from there!
79 -- draw an ear
92 -- draw a brown paper bag
100 -- landscape
50 -- Doorway to the Vet's office
12 -- something I'll eat for dinner
EDM 191 -- draw paper money
