Here is a list of the costs for entering Abant national park. Notice there it 1746 lyra for a film crew to enter (about 1,400 USD)
In Abant, they sell necklaces with many small apples on them. That's me eating one of the apples off of Berna's necklace.
Enjoying a canned juice. The popular brand, Cappy, makes really good canned juices.

The three of us striking silly poses.
Slightly sillier poses
You can thank Izzy for snapping this one.

Trees!
We thought this looked like a good couple's pose. Something that you would send around a Christmas card or something.
Ok, not in Abant anymore. This is from when Izzy and I went climbing in Ballikaylar for the four day weekend. That's Izzy doing a descent.
Same descent
Still the same descent
...
I picked a bunch of random berries and crushed them in my hands. Not to my surprise they turned my hands purple. In hind sight, it was a stupid idea.
Moving on to Kas. After climbing, Izzy and I hopped a bus for a 14 hour bus ride to the south of Turkey. At breakfast the first morning, one of Kas' many cats decided to start clawing my leg until I made room for it to sit in my lap.
That's Kas. The whole thing. Pretty small isn't it? Seemed like a town that relied mostly on diving tourism.
After a long bus ride with no sleep, we headed out diving.
Shoreline
Some of the divers were doing training to get their next level of certification. They had to do this kind of swimming while giving breaths at the same time.
Tooling around with my waterproof camera. Izzy happens to have exactly the same camera. I am the on in the read shorts. The guy to my left (right of me in the picture) is Cem, whom I go climbing with.
From the left Sedef (I think), Bahar, me, Cem and Izzy.
More tooling. (Cem and I)
...tooling
...tooling... that's Can, the third guy in the room with Izzy and I.
A shot form Izzy's dive.

A cool looking picture I thought.
Izzy. The man, the myth, the legend.

Me!
Me and Cem buddy checking each other. My regular buddy got jealous.

Sunken ship. This is a replica of the oldest ship found in Turkey.
From the left, me someone else I can't tell and Cem. Izzy pointed out how stupid it is of me to give a thumbs up. In diving thumbs up means to surface.
Still being an idiot with my thumb up. To my left is Can, someone else, and Izzy on the top of the picture.
A cool shot from the sunken ship
Handan. She hung around with Izzy, Cem, Can and I.
Izzy and Can.
Saturday night, we got a little rowdy. Cem, Izzy and I managed to get in a fight and ended up rearranging the furniture in our hotel room in the process. I found 3 of my four shoes in the bathroom. The fourth was a bit trickier to find. Afterwards, we just went to sleep as it was. Waking up the next morning was a bit confusing. (Note, third bed is not pictured here)
Cilling on the boat. On the right is Umut who I gave my hat too. His head was hurting him.
Relaxing on the boat. You can see me in the blue shirt facing the left of the picture. I spent Sunday deeply enthralled in a copy of the Economist.
Our final lunch.
Our whole group.
Same group, plus the dive coach on the left.
I think that's Umut. He is using Handan's happy face pillow.
...yeah. No comment... the bus ride back was fun to say the least.
Out for drinks in one of Kas' small side streets.
Taking a swim between dives. From the left Sedef, Bahar, me, Cem and Izzy.

Umut brought a fish eye lens which we played around with. Those are my hands behind Izzy's head.
