Audubon makes a brief appearance as the clouds lift. This is one of the easiest 13ers in the state.

I finally get to see what I climbed as Toll appears on the hike over to Pawnee. The nw face route tops out at the low point of the ridge on the left.
Pawnee is the final peak of the day, a short 400 foot climb from this broad saddle. Thunder rumbled in the distance as I neared the summit, so I got the heck out of there!

Believe it or not, there's a class 2 grassy route down this steep stuff above Blue Lake.
