A dear brother translated our "Joy of Salvation" tract into Swahili
Jesus asks this question, "What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul"?
We spent one night in the "bush" so we had to take along extra supplies
These are the women who traveled from Nyeri
And here are some of the men.
The roads were almost non-existent
God kept us safe
The big truck got stuck and the Masaai came to help us
We set up the tent next to the Massai village
We slept inside the tent & it was like camping out
We heated beans and rice that we had made at home and brought with us
The Masaai hold this ritual every 20 years
It was only the favor of God that we were asked to come for this special event
Ron McManus was able to take some great footage of the Masaai village and the JFM Medical Camp
Here Masaai women are preparing food
Dave McManus ushered the patients
Clinicians Carol and Felisther from Nyeri were a great blessing
These are the nurses stations
Shosho Jessie and Margaret Evans checking blood sugars, maleria & H.I.V.
Just before shutting down the camp, children arrived from school for care
Cheryl Hughes fitted the Masaai with reading glasses
We shared the Good News about Jesus inside the tent...
And we shared the Good News outside the tent...
This Masaai Warrior was one of 39 who received Jesus as Savior
We were so happy for this opportunity!
The "Kingdom of God" came to Sepeyo Kenya
Only God could have arranged something so wonderful!
We will never forget the great harvest gathered in March 2010
We saw many animals coming and going... many baboons...
and zebra...
and camels...
and Shosho Jessie's favorite - giraffe!
Slow and steady wins the race... JFM continues on for the cause of Christ!!!
