Singapore 2009: Museum of Toys (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys)
My first stop, after dropping my luggage at the Hives Backpackers' Inn. JingYi won't be free to meet me until night time and YenLu/FooGN/ChenHoe/JinHua were still in KL. So as I'm probably the only person who would be interested in a toys' museum, I decided to explore it myself. I would admit that it's a bit boring to do this alone (man, what's better than reminiscent and recalling about classics like TinTin with your mates?), but at the same time, it gave me ample time to do some proper shooting, and explore the place at my own pace.
It's small, but it's great, I would definitely recommend it if museums + toys sounds like a lot of fun to you. A good 1-2 hours are enough actually, unless you plan to have some real good look at these stuffs. (:
I'm most attracted by the Chinese toys, especially those which depict the era of Mao, cultural revolution, communism... Look at the toy of the kids beating the cop/paramilitary personnels, It's intrigue!
