Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) Photos 2010
I took some of these photos at Yellow Mountain in October 2010. Although we encountered rainy weather during our time there, the pristine environment still imparted a profound wonder at its otherworldly tranquility and beauty—the majestic peaks, swirling mist, thrumming raindrops, and vibrant flora and fauna impressed themselves on our senses in a way that transcended everyday experience. I hope these photos can convey a small part of what our visit to Huangshan meant to us. (To give you a sense of the magnificent sights we missed because of our bad luck with the weather, I have included other photos in this set, which were provided by CIT associate Tina Chen.)
