"explain more?"
Alex Zander
"you can use a similar method to what i said, except instead of 2 points for a line and finding the most common values, its 3 points for a circle."
Adith Subramanian
"This process would work at sphere and round objects? If not you know how to make it happenw"
Pedro Ciarlini
"oh thats really cool.
i was wondering because yours picks up at a better res than the one i was shown."
Adith Subramanian
"Hi, Adith, thanks. The edgels are extracted in a very simple process, I sweep the image over a grid of selected lines and columns, and just detect gradient peaks along them. Their direction is orthogonal to the gradient direction. The orientation is found from these edgels using an optimization to minimize the predicted direction on each point of the projected lines from the environment, assuming they are in three mutually orthogonal directions."

"excellent coding. i did some work with visual analysis in one of university courses and if you dont me asking what technique did you use? was it a sharpening for edge detection, then test for the most common linear equations that form?"
Adith Subramanian
"Tirei essa no pé da Torre Sutro uai... Perto dos twin peaks, a sudeste do golden gate park."
