EQ Program Poster Winner/Great Central U.S. ShakeOut in Henderson, KY
Students at The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School participate in the Great Central U.S. ShakeOut by exercising what they've learned this year in their earthquake education. During the ShakeOut, students demonstrated the "Drop, Cover, Hold On!" technique by getting under sturdy furniture and holding on until given the all-clear. Also, awards were given to school staff and fifth grader Meredith Beaven, winner of the Earthquake Program's poster contest for 2011.
