Astronomica members completed a month of photographing Jupiter & Venus, every day of Nov'08. Magnify it watch it in full screen. 3 photos are missing because of clouds 12, 16, 30 Nov. A few imperfections in the planets' path, because the photos taken a few secs here and there. Never thought that a few secs would make a diff. in 18mm lens. Moon starts at the bottom on Nov 1, goes just at the edge of the building, and upwards, returns on Dec 1 to form the now famous Celestial Smiley! The building has a bit of astronomical history, Humayun, mughal emperor, was an astronomer, one evening he was trying to locate Venus in the evening dusk when he heard the muezzin's call, he rushed and fell down the stairs to his death. Its a beautiful place to hold sky observations in the middle of New Delhi. Canon 450D, Canon 1000D, Nikon D80, Nikon D70. Images scaled in photoshop. Alignment in Images Plus, and composited in Startrails. Hope you still like the photo with its imperfections. Purana Quila Group, Astronomica
