The last walk and traditional summit of The Merrick (Tiu Meurach). After an interesting walk in to Kirriemore we endured some 'atmospheric' weather before being rewarded with fine views as we descended the Redstone Rigg.

Corserine, a Galloway Corbett, and the Rhinns of Kells are iconic locations for walkers and this southerly traverse of the Rhinns coming off Meikle Millyea to Clenrie was a super walk.

The remote bothy at Tunskeen was our official start point for a blowy but thoroughly enjoyable southerly traverse of the Range of the Awfu' Hand from the Nick of the Carclach.

WalkFest'11 - Threave Photographic Walk
