Top of Mt. Whitney
I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking "did he fire six shots or only five?" Now to tell you the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?
Most stupid shot i wud ever take (maybe!!)....I went closer after spotting this one on a meadow on the trail to Observation Peak (yellowstone NP) to get a better shot (with the "super-zoom" iphone cam), when suddenly the grazing giant spotted me..abt. 150-200 ft away. I froze & we looked at each other for a couple of seconds until I came to my senses and slowly started walking backwards facin him/her as a display of non-threatening gesture. Later the ranger told me that at such "close" distances there was a 50% chance that grizzlies charge. Yet a priceless moment in time I would never ever forget.
