This is Rose - from my shuttle ride to the BART Station. Her owner was nice enough to let me pet her, as she is a service dog.
I found Princess Leia on a WWII Artillery Bunker on Ocean Beach and Lincoln. I went back two days later and she had been kidnapped - Not that the thought hadn't crossed my mind as well!
Not the best Tai Chi group in the city but convenient enough for you to get the basic idea.
Say Hello to Bryan from Kansas City, Missouri. This is him dipping his feet into the cold Pacific water for the first time. He didn't last long.
This is the little known district of Sutro Heights. You can see the immensity of Golden Gate Park if you look at the greenery past the housing.
Look closely and you can see a 'Para-Surfer" just left of center. This is a sport where a parachute is a attached to a body harness and surfboard. Yeah, they get airborne.
I love this spot because no one knows about it (I'm not even sure how I found it). Standing beside the WWI and WWII Turret stations, you can view both the sunset over the Pacific and the Golden Gate Bridge just by turning your head.
I just like the view.
This is North Lake in Golden Gate Park. I like how secluded it is.
The is the Buffalo Conservation in Golden Gate Park. Buffalo neared extinction due to the slaughtering by Europeans to starve off the Native Americans. Since it's inception in the 1800's, this effort has birthed over 200,000!
This is the Winemaker in Golden Gate Park (Across from the De Young Museum). I once received a ticket for doing this exact thing. Check out the kid drinking from the bottom.
Had to get a picture of Me and Marley on Haight Street. This is a fairly recent version of Bob on this wall, a younger painting than before.
The Dutch Windmill in Golden Gate Park @ the Western Edge.
Dutch Windmill with the flower garden
This is the Greenhouse in the park.
Mr. Magoo has been in this window located on Haight & Ashbury for as long as I can remember (and probably decades longer than that). Every time he's in a new outfit. I especially like the reflection of the "Aquarius" onto the SUV on the street.
These are littered all over the city. R2D2 mail boxes. I know the picture sucks but I was in a hurray and it was getting dark fast.
Aaaarrrr AARRRRRR AAAAARRRRRRRRRR. I swear, Sea lions thrive on attention.
This was built for the Worlds Fair in the 1800's. Now it houses the Exploratorium, a scientific museum. It's so much fun! You can see this in the movie, "Forrest Gump".
The Golden Gate Bridge on a warm day! Texas may have a big sky, but our fog move quick!
I just wanted to show the mere height of the bridge with this cargo ship. I know it's not the Queen Mary II, but still... this passed with enough room for another one stacked on top to clear.
