White Settlement with B-24. The street that runs from lower right to upper left is Cherry Lane. The dark colored building were known as "The Bricks" and the light colored ones were the "Whites', or "Chicken Houses". They were called that because of the way they were built, they looked like chicken houses.

Attached pic. is of my great-grandfather. He was known as the Flying Marshal of Hill County. He would hire the pilot& airplane to take him to pick up fugitives to haul back to be jailed and/ or stand trial. How did he transport the baddie back home??? Must have cuffed him to wing strut or something. More than likely took back in ground transportation. BEN BURT TECH 58.
