I love VW. they just love to sound proof. Not enough since i put more in myself.
This is the trunk. you can see the stock mount witht he old cdrom player. And cup holder, one of the things i loose in my install.
This the case that as build. it gets mounted to the stock cd changer mounting bracket that was in my car.
The stuff being used for the install. That silver stuff in a role, is the left over sound proofing. Trunk floor and doors.
These are my dash pieces.
This piece goes into my ashtray as an inlay, and controls volume as well as a couple of other things. The display can display several different things as well. It;s an imon unit for home theater systems. And the piece it sits in was built from scratch. Oh yeah at the top there is a powered USB hub.
This is the wiring harness for the screen and the all the USB devices, i have a 12v and a 5 v source coming in to power the USB hub and the Screen.
The lilliput buttons
This is a cut up lilliput monitor back. This holds the mainboard for the screen and mounts to the center counsel mount

My three wires. Well 3 sets of wires. The yellow things was there thou.

this is where the O/1 gauge comes into my car.
