THE RICE PADDY: The Story of A Man and His Shed
This is the masterpiece shed. Hard to see the dormer, but it's there. Everything, including the doors, are custom made.
There's the cute little dormer!!
Installing security device.

"Sure, this pile of dirt can be moved in no time..."
I don't do ladders.
Well? Where's my carrot?
A brighter shot. Note the bars in the window. This shed has many possibilities!!!
No, the shed isn't tilting. The photographer was! LOL
Steel rebar for security. Or hostages...
Before it all began...
Glenn loves his new toy!
Mindy is not amused.
This monster must be scared away!!
Grrrrr!!!
DON'T TELL ME there's nothing to be afraid of!
Hard at work - foundation was never sealed nor did it have a proper drainage system in effect.
You can see Glenn by the little roof. Look at the mess he made! (The roof covers the well house)
Gean is supervising.
Hard to believe that a couple days earlier, this was a pretty nice yard!
Gean is making sure Glenn doesn't miss one bit of mud! :)
If you click thru these fast enough, it almost seems animated!
And they yelled at ME for digging holes!
STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!
I'm warning you!
Lovely holes in the foundation...wonder why we had water problems???? Note the lack of sealant!
Rachel, in the window, says "AWESOME!!!"
So help me, I will get this thing out of here if it's the last thing I do!!!
I need a valium.
Hey, watch it!
Lots of work to do here!
Maybe if I sneak up behind it....
Oh no, it saw me!
Exit, stage right! Or left...whatever, I'm outta here!
Meanwhile, back at the Cape Cod...
I WILL DEFEND THE FRONT YARD! I WILL!!!
Sure, Lileigh does this; Lileigh does that...but look what I can do!!!!
Nice new mortar!!
Almost ready for the new perimeter drain.
Perimeter drain.
All of that mortar needed to be replaced.
Gean is washing stones for the trench.
Some people came away from this project with tar on their noses (not mentioning any names, Hampton!)
Hampton and Gean deserve a big round of applause and grateful thanks for helping Glenn with this sticky mess!
Now we can't call our home a lakefront anymore; new drain system will eliminate our perpetual puddle!
Foam sheathing has been added to the foundation to further protect from moisture and other calamities..
Drain.
Glenn got this foam at a great discount from Gumble Brothers.
No more swimming pools in the basement!
Listen to me try and scare the big bad machine!
