Grandpa helped put this store-bought kite together -- now it's time to try it out -- sure could use some wind
A very fickle wind place, this Mad River location, but if you can run fast enough, you can make your own wind.
Spring is here and the lawn needs mowing and Grandma is getting ready to put in her vegetable garden. Moving stuff around in the new blue wheelbarrow
Little sand piles have formed near the river. It's too cold for swimming yet, but one can always play in the sand.
Sand play can be a pretty intense business -- singing helps

Waiting for Grandpa who's at his doctor, Anya and Grandma check out the Fortuna Park playground. Big disappointment -- no kids!
But we can pretend to have fun on the equipment anyway.

We're go-in' to the air-port, and we're gon-ta catch an air-plane, and we're go-in' to New Zealand -- stuffed car on way to SFO
San Francisco Airport - having a little snack before heading through security. She's holding together - barely -- the big flight is about to happen
Grandpa tries to show her the big plane she'll be getting on soon.
Going thru security -- She announces to the officer in an important tone of voice that she is “going on a very special plane” She will have her real birthday the day they arrive in Christchurch, New Zealand with her other grandmother whom she will be seeing for the very first time.
