Carmel of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel & St. Joseph, Brooklyn, NY
In 1997 the old Brooklyn Carmel closed and a few of the remaining nuns joined the Carmel in Buffalo, NY (one went to Dallas Carmel, another to St. Helens in the UK under the 1990s). In 2004 a new foundation in Brooklyn was made by the Buffalo Carmelites at the former monastery of the Lithuanian Franciscan Fathers -- Latin Divine Office (Gregorian Chant) revised Roman rite, slightly on hilltop - urban setting, Spanish/Mexican customs, there are young sisters, 1990 Constitutions, non-associated
