Raindrops on roses: a photograph taken with my Canon S60. It was overcast, just after a rainfall and so there was very little contrast in the petals. Shadows and hilights adjusted in post processing.

Pink rhododendron. From the Greek "rodon", meaning "rose", and "dendron", meaning "tree". There are about 1000 species.
