This is what I think should be installed at the NH 107 interchange on I-95 in New Hampshire going north. The Hampton toll booths are going to be upgraded with E-ZPASS express lanes very soon so thats why I put the E-ZPASS express sign under the toll approach sign. I was also not sure how long 1 1/2 miles was in kilometers so I just randomly put 2 KM.
This is a recreation of the old exit sign for the NY 299 interchange on the New York Thruway/I-87 going south. The sign has been replaced. It is now even and has that ugly clearview font. eeew
This is what I think should be on I-95/Maine Turnpike northbound at the Saco Hotel and Conference Center. There isn't a half mile notice for the I-195 interchange, so thats why that is there and overhead signs create better visibility especially with the amount of trucks on the Maine Turnpike.
This is what I think should be at the CT 171 interchange on I-84 going east. Exit 74 is the last interchange going north and here it gives notice for it unlike the current sign and the sign to the left indicates that I-84 leads directly to the Mass Pike and into Sturbridge and the northern points. I also put the signs on the CT style sign bridge.
This is an idea for the signs at the NY/MA border on I-90 going east. It gives an overhead sign notice for the quick approach to exit B3 (B for Berkshire Spur) and shows notice that you entered New York.
I did a little creation of a typical Maine interchange sign. This sign actually exsists. This would be on I-295 @ US 1 in Yarmouth, ME.
This is what I think should be at the exit 9 interchange on I-95 going south in Warwick, Rhode Island. It actually shows that exit 9 is indeed a left exit by putting LEFT above EXIT 9 and shows more better control cities like Newport and RI Beaches which are the major points it goes to. The sign to the left also puts helpful info by having it show it goes to US 1 and RI 138. Same for I-95 where it goes along the CT seacoast and goes directly into New York City.
This is what I created that I think should be at the approach to any toll barrier along the Mass Pike/I-90. I included the info on the FAST LANE and E-ZPASS and I did a little creation to have any carpools and high occupancy vehicles (HOV) should be free. I also included flasher beacons to make the signs stand out more.
Now these signs do exsist, I just put them on the MA and RI style of sign bridge. This can be seen on I-93 south at the I-89 interchange south of Concord, NH.
