This is a simple design in a fabulous setting. Better selection of the timber in the squares would have achieved the designers intention of a harper chequered effect.
The chequered effect is more obvious here but still not as well presented as intended. The one element that makes this flooring costly is the tiny key square at the corners of the larger grid detailed in dark mahognay.
