This is a stunningly beautiful floor. It is always easy to criticize another's work, especially when one knows nothing of the order process, the time scale allowed for production or the budgets set against the work, so my criticisms are to be viewed in the light of my ignorance of these matters. There is a joint in the ash 'ray' pointing towards the camera. The ash banding in the arcs of the circles is poorly selected for colour, or if discoloured pieces were intended, they should have been more evenly scattered, not grouped together.
