Down by the waterfront in a popular cafe area several car manufacturers have a show, but you can see which one I'm excited by - in my Norwegian hat I'm ready to test drive!
Can't wait to take it on the road! Its roomy for a small car, and visibility is very good.
I pulled up to try out the on street charging which is in many spots around Norway.
The two cords coming out of the charger's control unit handily roll up around it. One end goes in the car...
...the other end goes in the charging point. A key on my keyring opens the aluminium cover. There's one bollard per two parks, and the cover (with its weatherproof rubber seal) opens to reveal 2 sockets.
Charging up and all free! The unit on the ground has a glowing green light to show progress. On the window of the car is a indicator - I think its used to show how long I've been hogging this spot.
The socket on the Th!nk. The cover has to stand open during charging. I think the charging unit here is not meant for on street charging in all weathers - it looks designed for your garage.
The glass hatch is light, easy to open, and good for visibility. Inside the battery tray is under the raised floor.
Nearby a Reva = the indian EV was soaking up some free electrons.
The ABS plastic panels of the Th!nk give it a rugged utilitarian appearance - and it is a very practical jump in and go sort of vehicle.
