I've lost my camera :(..story of my life! So, a few of these pics are from my Sarah's trip to a lantern festival in Jinju!
One of the coolest girls ever and her semi-cool boyfriend ;) !
My dearest Sarah!
The beautiful Naejangson area and mountain it's a famous area for the maple trees. Not the same kind that we have at home. They are soft maples so they don't produce any sap for maple syrup.
OUr wonderful hiking gang, we all got up super early to beat the rush of Koreans. It was wild we were shoulder to shoulder walking down some of the paths. I think because I've been here awhile now I've gotten use to the crowds and I wasn't bothered by it :)
'Hey guys look at the umm 'grass???' There are some places famous around Gwangju for the ummm...'grass?'' - Lucy (one of my favourite Korean girls)
The line up for the train which literally went about a kilometre...so bizarre!
Rusty, Lisa and Prya chillin by one of the most beautiful trees!
I am one with the leafs...
Sarah slingshotting!
Cara (a new friend from Thuderbay!!!) and her beautiful Kaylex (one of the happiest babies ever!) and Sarah (one of the best baby entertainers!)

The train people waited ages to get one...it was pretty cool I guess!
Howdie Ho Partner!
It was wild because every once in awhile you would find a completely green tree. The colour contrasts were absolutely amazing!
One of the biggest Ginkos I've ever see! Choopie I took a bunch of these for you :)
One of our many relaxing breaks :) The day was so calming.
A monk , Cara and Kaylex :)
Chris moments after Lucy tore his jacket...that's what you get for messing with a Korean girl!

In line for the cable car.
Every once and awhile in Korea we stumble upon something extremely phallic...we found this at the top of the mountain..hahah toooo funny!
This monk was awesome! Lisa and I walked passed him and we smiled at him and then he called us back as Lisa was sneaking a picture of him. We thought we might get scolded for taking a photo but instead he let us take a pic with him.
His English was ok and he was able to explain the wooden fish that monks hit. I did some research and was able to figure out what he was trying to say- 'According to the legends, this fish pattern signifies the evolution of a fish into a dragon, that is, the transition from an ordinary human being into a saint.'

Sarah and I went to the Gwangju Biennale. It was interesting, they had a lot of modern art that was very risky and out there.
