In Clifton, LA 25 intersects LA 38, which dies somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the east and goes to Kentwood and Darlington in the west.
After meeting LA 38, LA 25 continues south to Franklinton.
Now in “Jesus Is Lord Over” Franklinton, LA 25 meets LA 430. LA 25 will depart to the right. Sorry for the shoddy picture, but a Washington Parish Sheriff's deputy was riding my ass at this point.
Very quickly, LA 25 encounters LA 10 (left) and LA 16 (straight). Guess what happens next.
After another right turn almost immediately, LA 25 South enters a very rare (for Louisiana) triplex with LA 10 West and LA 16 West.
LA 10/LA 16/LA 25 cross over the Bogue Chitto River as they leave Franklinton.
The first highway to depart the triplex is LA 10, bound west as far as JCT US 171 in Pickering.
LA 16 West/LA 25 South continue as a concurrency as they get farther from Franklinton.
Soon after, LA 16 departs the multiplex, bound for Amite. Next stop for LA 25 South is Folsom.

LA 40 departs the concurrency here, going west toward Independence and Loranger. The next stop for LA 25 is Covington.

Between Folsom and Covington, LA 25 encounters the northern end of LA 1077. LA 1077 takes a slightly circuitous routing to Madisonville.
LA 25 next encounters the eastern end of LA 1078. It's basically a glorified local road.
