Foo Fakers Acoustic Set
The Foo Fakers, a Foo Fighters cover band based in Houston, did a free acoustic set at the Microsoft store in the Galleria Mall, It was well attended, with 30-40 people at the core, and more wandering in and out from the mall as they shopped.
Foo Fighter favorites such as 'My Hero', 'Everlong', 'Times Like These' made an appearance, albeit a quiet appearance, due to the venue. Singer Keaton Branch seemed to forget about the venue constraints during 'Best of You' and led a roaring rendition of the hit.
During the hour-long set, the band engaged their audience with banter, but kept it short and lively. Some audience members seemed to think the hour long set was too short, as many hung around afterwards to talk to the band, perhaps drawing the experience out a bit.
