On the way back a prarie rattle snake was along the trail
Spencer took his rope and killed it
It's hard to see it
Here it is, a middle size one. In the few days we were at Powder River they must have killed ten or so rattle snakes.
We left this one for the scanvengers after taking it's rattles

Were finally done, almost ready to head for home, a bitter sweet ending. Glad to be done, but knowing that it will most likely be the last time I'm here.
