Gran Canaria, Canary Islands
Gran Canaria is the third largest of the Canary Islands, often referred to as a "Miniature Continent" due to it's different climates and variety of landscapes. Most tourists visit the southern part of the island which is warm and sunny, whilst the north tends to be cooler. The east coast is flat and dotted with beaches, while the western coast is rockier and mountainous.
