Buildings on Bush St.
Looking up some street. I don't know.
Chinatown Gate at Chinatown on Bush St. Everyone takes this picture.
Lavish antiques store, Chinatown.
Another lavish antiques store right across the street from that other one. I bet they stare daggers at each other from behind their counters all day.
San Francisco has a lot of hills. This is one such hill.
A garden near Chinatown.
That tall pointy building.
The tall pointy building from a little closer up.
Rudolf is deleting old pictures from his camera. This is walking from Chinatown over to the wharf.
This used to be a plumbing system for a race of giant stone robots, but it's now disused and dilapidated.
Water, San Francisco.
Fast water. San Francisco.
Another pointy building.
Pointy AND slopey.
Palm trees to the left of me, lamp posts to the right here I am, stuck in the middle with some metal statue thing.
The road is long.
Ferry at the wharf. Rudolf is here too. He is still deleting old pictures. He needs to make enough room so he can take new ones.
A pigeon.
Not a pigeon.
Markets in the port building.

This clam chowder was really delicious.
The sea lions took over pier 37 (I think) at some point and nobody wanted to argue with them so they've been there ever since.
They seem comfy.
Regular buildings, trees, walls, roads, cars.
Trams near the wharf.
Funicular trams near the wharf.
Funicular trams. Columbus Avenue.
Another fine example of a hill in San Francisco.
A tree in San Francisco. It is a delightful tree. Many of the trees in San Francisco look like this one and are equally delightful, if a little smaller.
Nice buildings near the tree from the last picture, which couldn't resist sneaking in at the corner there like a rogue.
There's a tower on top of a cliff near the wharf, and over on the right is the top of a religious building I think.
That religious building, a little closer up.
Enough, already! We're like, totally sick of plywood?
The cigar cafe called Mario's Bohemian Cigar Store Cafe. It's on Columbus Avenue.
Mario's Bohemian Cigar Store Cafe.
It's very bohemian in there. The cheesecake is nice. The mocha was fabulous.
More Mario's.
Horse and cart outside Mario's.
A side road off Columbus.

These things are nice and old.
View up a hill from the cable car.
View back up a hill from the cable car.
View down a hill from the cable car. Taking the cable car involves a lot of hills and views of hills. In fact being in San Francisco involves a lot of hills, and cable cars, and views of hills.
This is a hill in San Francisco. As you can see, the hill is very nice and goes all the way to the bay.

Alley covered with street art.
Lurid graffiti off Valencia. Fantastic colours.
This is a completely disgusting chocolate-themed doughnut I bought from the liquor store just to see if it tasted as repulsive as it looked. It was worse. I ate all three.

A bunch of dudes. All this is happening in the Owl Tree in San Francisco. It's an okay cocktail bar. At this point everyone wanted to leave but felt compelled to stay because Rudolf and I still had drinks.
That's a door.
Derek is dancing and singing. He is performing the song Under The Bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He kept it up far longer than anyone else I know probably could.
