Vermont Trip
I started the day really early, getting up for sunrise after only a couple hours of sleep. I went down to my favorite local spot on the Hill Road in Lyman (first photo). Then the rain came in and boy did it ever rain, all the way to Vermont. The next day was gorgeous, however. It was a bright but cool Saturday, after a delicious breakfast in Quechee, Vermont, we checked out the Quechee Gorge then we stopped in Taftsville to take photos of our first covered bridge, one of many that saw on this trip. We drove up route 4 taking a left on rt 100 heading N to Stowe passing miles of bucolic farms and mountains covered with trees that were a mix of reds, oranges, yellows, and greens. We had lunch in Stowe, on the way we back to Woodstock we stopped at Cider Mill Farms, upon entering the store we were met with the most wonderful smell of apple and cinnamon donuts you could ever imagine. If you could bottle that smell you would make a million dollars. They tasted just as good as they smelled!

New Hampshire, Vermont and Quebec Trip (You can use these images but ONLY for personal use)
I started this trip around Ossipee Lake in New Hampshire and then up along Route 16 to Route 302 stopping at beautiful Chocorua Lake (photos of Bald Mountain reflected in the lake) roadside rest area on Rt. 16 and then serene Crawford's Notch State Park on Rt. 302. I also stopped at a popular pullout on Rt. 302 just north of North Conway. From there I journed into Vermont via I 93 to I 91. I stopped in Newport and took photos of Lake Memphramagog, a huge lake that is partially in Vermont (the southern end) and the Province of Quebec, Canada. After lunch I continued along I 91 into Canada where it turns into Canada 55 where I picked up Canada 10 and went as far as Parc du Mont-Orford just north of Magog. I also stopped in Magog and Georgville for more views of the Lake before returning to the U.S.

New York and Ontario Vacation Images (Images may be used for personal use ONLY please.)
We traveled to upper New York state on May 12th 2009. We drove through the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont, up the west side of Lake Champlain and through the Adirondack Mountains in New York. We stayed in a great little cottage on the shores of the Saint Lawrence Seaway in Cape Vincent, New York. We took several side trips in Ontario and surrounding areas.
