"Maybe this is the 1899 painting, "Die wilde Jagd?" The museum cited a title only in French for this painting -- "L'hécatombe" -- at the time of my visit."

"I think this is symbolist school, titled, "L'hécatombe". Much more powerful in the museum, BTW. Cannot find it on the web site of the museum. Is he the only German in the museum?"
