Bienvenido a Present Moment.
My room is the top floor of the structure on the left. So not an actual bungalow. Notice that it's open-air. At night, all you could hear was the ocean.
My room, Serenity, at night.
Que bella candelabra.
La cama de Col.
View from my shower: 9:00 yoga class.
Another look at morning yoga class (view from my shower). Natalie is teaching and Teresa, Angie, Paul, CJ and Ann are participating. To the right is the Present Moment restaurant.
CJ teaching the yoga class ... as her completely rad Rhodesian Ridgeback puppers keep her company.
The pool and the casa de los proprietarios. The upstairs is a gorgeous home for CJ & Tom, the creators of the resort. The downstairs, beneath the stairs, is a shared space and location for Thai massage therapy.
Teresa in CJ & Tom's place showing off CJ's sweet library. Every detail of the environment is perfect.
View from CJ & Tim's casa.
Another view of the pool and the main house. The gardens and landscaping are absolutely breathtaking.
This is where Kev & Tara stayed when they visited a year before me.
Or was it THIS one?
Day turning, slowly, to night.
I ran on the beach each morning. It was delightful not to see another soul, except for the occasional, surfer, doggie or yogi.
Lots of rocks on the beach. I did manage to take a dip, though I was a tad nervous due to a string of shark attacks during the week. http://tinyurl.com/5d9a6p Note: The woman Lisa Rabon, quoted in the article, was staying at Present Moment.
Sheri with 7-week old Nina, the beautiful daughter of beautiful new parents, Crystal and Mike.
Mamma and daughter! Crystal explained a lot about the process of becoming a mother ... how she prepared and how everything went once Nina arrived. I really appreciated that.
Mike and Nina sleepy in the shade.
Right before I accidentally woke them up. Look at that peanut ... her long arm. So sweet!
Wonderwoman, Melissa con Wonderbaby, Nina.
Nina has incredible neck control for such a little baby. And Melissa's a natural.
Crystal and Sheri at Crystal & Mike's place my last night. It was my favorite evening in Troncones. Their home, Casa Corazon, is fabulous and the company and food could not be better.
Martha rocking the peanut to sleep. Photo op! Right behind her is an awesome hammock that also doubles as a baby swing.
I also loved holding Nina. Having a tiny new member of our world around in that magical setting was a total delight.
Harris, age 6, in between his various pyrotechnic pursuits.
Max, taking a break from following around his own American idol: Harris.
View of Crystal & Mike's place from the outside. It faces the beach. Dreamy!
Present Moment dining room, where many an incredible meal and conversation was enjoyed.
Teresa and Sheri cracking up ... if I recall correctly the joke had something to do with boobs. My favorite thing about the trip was meeting so many wonderful new people.
