1st boxer was ‘Hexi’ (Devil Lady of Eden-Glen) who was whelped in 1972. She was bought in Auckland, and traveled with the family when we moved to Dunedin. Sire was Witherford Weldek Milord (imp UK). Dam was from the Eggleton's Boystocks lines in New Zealand. Hexi's first litter was in 1975, sire NZ Ch Gremlin Hey Pronto (imp UK). 2nd litter in 1978 was with sire NZ Ch Gremlin Summer Spree (imp UK). Anna didn't keep any of Hexi's pups - she started over with a new pup from Val Tourelle of Assisi Boxers. Later she regretted having nothing from Hexi.
Peppi with one of her litters. Peppi’ was Anna's 2nd boxer (Ch Assisi Winter Orgy CDX, whelped 1979). Peppi was out of Gremlin Great Gale (imp UK to Aust). and Ch Assisi Summer Orgy (a NZ Ch Gremlin Summer Spree (imp UK) daughter & NZ Ch Gremlim Hey Pronto (imp UK) granddaughter)
Anna training ‘Peppi’ (Ch Assisi Winter Orgy CDX, whelped 1979) for utility work. Anna did tracking/utility work with Peppi and her daughter Gundi, as well as competing with them in the highest level of obedience competition in New Zealand, and of course, also showing them in conformation & breeding from them - busy dogs and busy owner!
Peppi was selected to represent her obedience club at regional inter-club competitions
‘Gundi’ was Anna’s first home bred champion (Ch Gunda vom Hexenhaus CDX, whelped 1983 from Peppi and NZ CH Gremlin Summer Spree imp UK)
‘Gundi’ (Ch Gunda vom Hexenhaus CDX, whelped 1983 from Peppi) posing uncomfortably on a slippery floor. Showing her lovely expression which was not that common 25 years ago!
Anna with Gundi and 2 pups
Gundi following in her mother Peppi’s footsteps by being selected as part of the local obedience team for regional competitions.
Anna showing one of Gundi’s pups, Ch Sigfrid vom Hexenhaus (whelped 1986, sire was Ch Assisi Maybe Midnight, a NZ Ch Winter Frost of Gremlin (imp UK) son and NZ Ch Gremlim Hey Pronto (imp UK) grandson)
Ch Sigfrid vom Hexenhaus - a stallion of a dog! He was over standard height at a time when many of the dogs were rather on the small side!
A head profile of "Siggy" Ch Sigfrid vom Hexenhaus (whelped 1986)
Siggy's sister 'Fratzi' (Ch Grimhild Vom Hexenhaus) who did very well in the show ring in New Zealand. Photo taken when she was still immature. I will try to find a better photo of her as she also lies behind other significant Hexenhaus boxers.
1989: Anna with young Ch Fria vom Hexenhaus & Fausta vom Hexenhaus, out of Gundi daughter, Ch Grimhild Vom Hexenhaus. Their sire was Ch Eischied Double Trouble (a NZ Ch Winter Frost of Gremlin (imp UK) son, and NZ Ch Gremlim Summer Spree (imp UK) grandson). Anna was so pleased with this litter, she repeated the mating later.
'Steffi' (Fausta Vom Hexenhaus, whelped 1989) with Anna's granddaughter Isobel. Steffi was another favourite of Anna's due to her lovely expression and impish nature. She moved to Australian with Anna at the end of 1990. I will try to locate a better photo of her as she lies behind many of Anna's top winners.
Steffi's sister 'Fria' stayed back in NZ when Anna moved as she lived with and was co-owned by Gail Cocklin. Ch Fria Vom Hexenhaus was a first champion for Gail.
Anna and ‘Lotte’, Ch Fee vom Hexenhaus, out of Gundi daughter, Ch Grimhild Vom Hexenhaus. Lotte was whelped 1990. Sire was Ch Eischied Double Trouble (a NZ Ch Winter Frost of Gremlin (imp UK) son, and NZ Ch Gremlim Summer Spree (imp UK) grandson). This was a repeat mating. Lotte moved to Australian with Anna at the end of 1990, as a young pup.
Lotte's sister, 'Freddy', remained in NZ (Fratze vom Hexenhaus) where her forte was obedience.
2 of Anna’s favourites: 'Axel' Goetz vom Hexenhaus (born 1987 out of Gundi & Ch Quo Vadis Booby Magic) & 'Faust' Ch Hexenhaus Sebastian (1991) showing how well the stud dogs got along.
'Faust' Ch Hexenhaus Sebastian (whelped 1991, out of Fausta Vom Hexenhaus ('Steffi') and Aus Ch Eischied Riot Down Under (imp NZ))) was a different physical style from some of the others, but 100% boxer and a lovely nature.

Ch Hexenhaus Pippin ("Otto"), another top show winner.
Otto's sister, Schatzi (Ch Hexenhaus Petra) was a BiSS winner, handled by Sue McKie. Sire was Eng Ch Mitchum of Sunhawk Norwatch (imp UK), dam was Filipa vom Hexenhaus.
Ch Hexenhaus Max (‘Bernie’, born 1995), a BiSS winner, shown to BiS by a junior handler. Sire was Eng Ch Mitchum of Sunhawk Norwatch (imp UK), dam was Filipa vom Hexenhaus ('Pippa' - a daughter of Ch Grimhild vom Hexenhaus and Goetz vom Hexenhaus) who travelled from NZ to Australia with Anna)

Ch Hexenhaus Hedda (mother of Jutta). Whelped 1996 out of Hexenhaus Britta and Ch Phoenix Paragon.
Ch Hexenhaus Jutta, another BiSS winner. A favourite of Anna’s who closely resembled her grand-dam, Gundi. (Whelped 1998)
BiSS Ch Hexenhaus Jutta, showing her melting expression.

One of Anna’s heart dogs BiSS Hexenhaus Mako, (born 2003 out of two other BiSS winners, Jutta and Bernie). Part of Anna's household when she passed on.
Anna showing her beloved Mako. Mako is now a happy, spoiled family pet - Anna would be pleased I think!
