Rufous-winged Fulvetta
The one which flew away - Green-tailed Sunbird flying off from the perch. The birds hardly settle down enough to allow you to take a good pic - hence every shot you get is sheer luck.

Chestnut-headed Tesia. This is a very small bird 8 cms, but has a very loud voice which goes 'tsee-tsu-wit'. If you dont know that this bird usually on the ground or a few inches above and in the bushes, you would go mad trying to locate it from its sound which is so loud that you'd be so confident of seeting the bird at close quarters.
Whiskered Yuhina. Don't miss the Rohodendron pollen on its crown
Young leaves sprouting
Collared Owlet. A very prominent predator of small birds. I actaully saw one attack a flock of Yuhinas and pull down one...
Greater Adjutant Stork - Guwahati
Black Kite. Got this good low flying shot at the dumping grounds of Guwahati

Our Drivers - Bimal (left) and Payne (right). Bimal is a Nepalese and Payne is from Assam. Payne was more levelheaded but new to the terrain and this kind of touring, while Bimal has been taking birders around for a while now so knows when to stop. But I am sure Payne would catch-up soon :)
The Toilet blocks and bathrooms at Bhompu. Hats off to their waste management system in this wilderness.
Dont miss the name on the bike - Hayabusa - A Yamaha named Hayabusa
