Because, while capable of billions of operations per second, a laptop typically lumbers under bloatware passed on by several generations of extraordinarily lazy programmers. Custom code, for my Laptop Supercomputer, circumvents commercial annoyware, sludgeware, and bloatware.

A 64-port Switch is under the table near window. 64 laptops were required to remove 100,000 columns, from a matrix having a quarter million columns, by convex cone theory; a calculation that occupied this entire machine for 2 weeks would have taken 2.5 years using only one laptop.
