There are three small clips at the bottom edge to release the silver front panel. Be gentle.
Here are the clips after release.
Here is the front of the unit. There are five Torx T6 screws around the edge that hold the display, buttons, and speakers to the board.
The display and buttons lift up and to the right when the Torx screws are removed.
BE VERY CAREFUL HERE.
The display and the buttons are attached by two different ribbon cables and seperate easily.
The touchscreen pops off easily. This makes repair/replacement of this unit very straightforward.
The three clips by the webcam are difficult because they run in alternate directions. Place a flat plastic pry stick by the webcam and release the clips left to right.
This ribbon cable is VERY hard to reattach when released. Extending the webcam then rotating it lengthens the ribbon cable. Again - take it slow and be very careful.
Another shot of that difficult ribbon cable.
All the chips are covered by shielding soldered to the board. There's actually nothing really interesting inside.

Webcam bay and Stylus port. External SD card still in the slot.
The charger plug is the gold contact on the far right. It remains connected to the plastic back but touches two contacts on the circuit board.
