20101110 - Day 8 - TETSU Ramen, Minato Mirai (Yokohama)

Had delicious Ramen at TETSU (near Shinagawa JR Station), then head to Yokohama. Went to Minato Mirai and window shopped at the World Porter Mall. Was going to ride the Ferry Wheel but it was in maintenance-mode that day :( So instead went to the arcade and killed some time!

20101109 - Day 7 - Tsukiji Sushi Dai, Odaiba, Ooedo Onsen

Went to Sushi Dai @ Tsukiji Market for lunch (arrived at 10AM and waited in line for 2 hours). Then went to Odaiba and enjoyed a fun afternoon there. Went to the Ooedo Onsen near Odaiba for some HOT SPRING shower!

20101108 - Day 6 - St. Regis Osaka, Dotonbori, Shinagawa Sukiya

After another nice breakfast at St. Regis, we went to Dotonbori for some traditional Osaka snacks. Then we again took Shinkansen back to Shinagawa and had a cheap but very delicious dinner at Sukiya (Jing's favorite of the trip!)

20101107 - Day 5 - Kyoto, Kimono Cosplay

Took Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Kyoto after a very nice breakfast at St. Regis. Changed to KIMONO at Kyoto (at Sensho-Kitamura) and walked around the nearby temples/shops.

20101106 - Day 4 - Tokyo Sunrise, St. Regis Osaka, Nambo, Giant Wheel

Had a wonderful buffet style breakfast at Westin Tokyo. Then took the Shinkansen to Osaka and checked-in at St. Regis Osaka. Walked down to Namba and had Fugu dinner at Futomasa. Walked down Dotonbori and went to the Giant Ferry Wheel @ Tempozan to end our day.

20101105 - Day 3 - Westin Tokyo, Kawagoe, Akihabara, Kichoji

Check-In @ Westin Tokyo (Ebisu) and met with Ed for a day-trip to Kawagoe (川越, 俗稱小江戶). Went to Akihabara for Ji-Pai (雞排) and final stop at Kichoji for some more beer and snacks!

20100917-19 - St Marks, Novecento, Totto Ramen

Korean dinner with Jing's coworker friends at BOKA @ St. Marks. Dessert at SPOT next door. Next day we tried some Argentine style lunch with Jack at Novecento @ SOHO. Lastly some delicious ramen dinner at Totto Ramen @ Hell's Kitchen. Gotta love NYC (what a gourmet heaven)!

Woke up early morning (3:45AM) to catch the first EuroStar from London to Paris. Went straight to Chateau de Versailles and checked-in @ Trianon Palace Versailles. Visited Chateau de Versailles and the interior.

20100608 - Day 9 - Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, St. Paul's Cathedral

Went to the "oldest restaurant" in London near Covent Garden. Then visited Tafalgar Square, Nelson's Column, and National Gallery. Went to Misato for cheap Japanese food. Finally, went to St. Paul's Cathedral and walked over the Millenium Bridge.

20100607 - Day 8 - Buckingham Palace, Change of Guards, The Berkeley, Les Miserable

Went to Buckingham Palace to watch the daily "Change of Guards" ceremony. Experienced the "traditional" fish-n-chips lunch @ SeaFresh. Went to "The Berkeley" for Prêt-à-Portea (afternoon tea) and then enjoyed the musical "Les Miserables."

Took the EuroStar from Paris to London. Checked-in @ easyHotel, the tiniest hotel I've ever stayed at. Met up with Mike and Mai @ Tower Hill tube station and walked across the Tower Bridge and had dinner @ ASK

Waited for an hour to go up Notre Dame and then had a quick lunch+dinner @ cafe along Seine River. Went to Montmartre (Moulin Rouge) to experience (not really) the "adult night life" of Paris
