Ride.Andes.Rio.Puelo.Chile.2010
An 8-day horse trek through the Andes Mountains from Puerto Varas, Chile (Patagonia) to near Bariloche, Argentina. Accompanied by my Costa Rican friend, Jose Joaquin Tortos Trejos, we enjoyed narrow trails, cold river water, and new friends. The Great Chilean Earthquake of Feb.27.2010 was the unexpected exclamation point that lengthened our journey home and changed our itinerary.
