"You have no idea how much you just made me smile. First off, Snow Crash is an amazing novel, though I feel like The Diamond Age is way deeper.

Secondly, GURPS was my fucking world for years. I bought GURPS Cyberpunk mostly because of Op Sundevil in the early nineties, and when the Mentor got arrested. It was a good baseline but didn't include a lot of stuff that I wanted, so I picked up GURPS Cyberworld, which added a lot more cultural background and the grit I was looking for. After that came Cthulhupunk and Blood Types. Eventually I developed a multi-TL world where 90% of North America was urbanized after the Awakening happened (though the Awakening in my world gave birth to a whole lot of horror-movie PCs.)
