Saguarao Cactus : Protected Cactus in the USA. A Saguarao has alife span lasting a few hundred years. A Saguarao grows an arm after about 75 years and then more arms every 40-50 years. This Saguarao next to the bell tower of Velda Rose church in Mesa must be atleast 200 years old.

Prefabricated home - Las Palmas Grand: Las Palmas Grand is a "gated community" for people above 60 years of age. The home, as quite a few in Mesa, is pre-fabricated in a factory. It is brought to the site in two parts and assembled.
