Pedigree Ornaments and few other Xmas items

I am creating Xmas ornaments for each ancestor on my pedigree- 15 persons in all- starting from the principal (me) and going through my great grandparents. Each ornament will feature an image not of the person's face or bust, but rather, some characteristic unique to that individual. The ornaments are being blogged about one per day during December. I will make a slide show which will include all ornaments to date and remove after Xmas.

Mother's Ancestral Homelands, Part I, Germany- Wesel, Reese, Grietherbusch

Images are of the ancestral homelands (Heimat) of my mother's branch of our Family Tree. Rudolf Kerbitz, resident of Wesel, was the source of many of the vintage photos and graphics presented here. Thank you Rudolf.

Mother's Ancestral Homelands, Part 2- Roeschwoog, Alsace; Pittsburgh, PA; Alexandria,VA

Continues with photos of Mother's Ancestral Homelands. My great grandmother, Franceska Dumoulin, was born in Roeschwoog, Alsace, in 1871. She emigrated to Pittsburgh, PA, where she met and married Henry Caspar Gailliot. Their children were born in Braddock, PA. Family moved to Alexandria about 1920.

Walter Johnson High School, 45th, 50th Reunions and more

The 45th Reunion of Walter Johnson High School, class of 1960, was held at the Marriott Hotel, Pooks Hill, MD, in Fall, 2005. Update: Added reunion photos from previous years and also photos contributed by our classmates. Thanks guys. Update2: The 50th Reunion for classes of 1958-61 held May 31 now included.
